The problem is I doubt the manufacturers will use it in a fully fledged flagship. The two phones so far confirmed to use it (Redmi k50 pro and Realme gt neo3) are giving very midrange type camera setups and budget flagship type screens. Would be great if a proper flagship was released with it. The cost savings on the chip could be used to improve other areas like the cameras

I had a Mi 11 Pro i gave it to fri... moreThis is a common problem with the Xiaomi 11 and Xiaomi 11 pro (not sure about the ultra). It is a design flaw with the models. In China Xiaomi admitted the problem and they offer to replace the phone rather than repair it within the first year if it happens here. Normal policy is repair only after 15 days in China. I recently purchased a 10s in a Xiaomi Home store in China. Was planning on getting a Xiaomi 11 pro but the two shop assistants advised to go for the 12 series or 10s. One of them used a mi11 and the other a mi11 pro and the motherboard burnt out for both within 6 months. I bought the mi10s instead but the camera module ended up being faulty so ended up returning it. Apparently the motherboard issue should not happen on the 12 series but it is common with the 11 series
