why would anyone buy a worse version of the normal nord 2 ? just makes no sense oneplus... they will soon have so many name and models like xiaomi.. this phone is not needed... better u wait for nord 2t instead....

I don't know how much the metal frames add to the price, but maybe it is not for saving, they just want the phones to bend and brake, since a lot of people carry their devices in back pockets.

they made plastic frame for OnePlus 9 and are always going for the plastic frame for almost all phones except few and you are telling that they are going to opt for a metal frame for a lite version of a midranger? don't think so. Google made these companies believe they can sell plastic phones at flagship prices...

So OnePlus made flagship killers. Then they made a sub range, the Nord. Then they made a sub range of the sub range the Nord CE. And now sub range of the sub range , it's the Nord CE Lite!?! How many sub ranges can there be and if the top of the line up is a flagship killer what does that make the bottom of the range?
