    12x should be around $500

Overpriced with bad battery life. I rather go for A53 with half the price, better software, battery life and decent performance.

At this point might as well get an iPhone since there is no more competition.

The 12 is more expensive than the 11 despite being a downgrade like all of Xiaomis phones this year. Absolute clowns

Peter-B, 15 Mar 2022Note that you're getting half the storage with the 12X... moreWell the software updates sounds nice not gonna lie

IpsDisplay, 15 Mar 2022I'd say yup, it's cheaper has the same stable chipsetYes. Honestly I think SD870 is probably more than enough for 95% (or even more) users. I still can't understand the "not the latest chip/sensor/etc" complaints...

800 euro for the 128gb version of the regular Xiaomi 12 is a bit steep. Thought they would at least match the European pricing of the Realme gt2 pro

The 12X is a ripoff compared to the 12 and the 12 pro.

what's going on with Xiaomi and Poco at the moment? Almost all of them are expensive.

12X should be cheaper. Hope Redmi K50/Poco F4 to be significantly cheaper but the rumored screen size is 6.6". the 12X has better dimensions (for me).

IpsDisplay, 15 Mar 2022Xiaomi 12X is the best deal The 870 is currently Qualcom... moreNote that you're getting half the storage with the 12X (128 GB vs. 256 GB). Also, the 12 and 12 Pro will get 3 OS updates and 4 years of security patches (an article is queued up for publishing), the 12X software support was not mentioned. With that in mind, the extra $100/€100 may be worth it.

Eliezerjk, 15 Mar 2022Using your logic, then Poco F3 is even better option than 12XI'd say yup, it's cheaper has the same stable chipset

AnonD-1018516, 15 Mar 2022Xiaomi still has a long way to go in the flagship field tho... moreAgree but build quality is certainly not better on S21 FE. I had that phone for a week and it feels kind of cheap. Build quality is usually really good on phones from Xiaomi, especially their premium phones.

I'd die if I watched 3 months of YouTube, lol. The phones are nice though and priced reasonably. I'm eyeing the vanilla 12 and looking forward to its review.

so unsurprisingly the leaked pricing was wrong. Big surprise.

Ill wait for k50 series before i decide

Why the phones prices now are so high wtf. I still remember the time when I could get a Xiaomi flaship for like 300€ .-.
