Can the google button be used as shutter key in Xperia 10 ii? I read that it can be used in 10 iii using a tweak. Not sure if this is possible in 10 ii?

I got Android 12 yesterday for my Xperia 1 ll. It runs smoothly but doesn't look great. The thick volume indicator is the ugliest I've ever seen.

The difference is many brands like Xiaomi need updates because of how crap the UI is and how unstable the OS functions are. Sony are stable and fast straight out of the box. Also you know there is no spyware preinstalled.

I don't even know why people are debating this. This is just old news.

There is nothing to the table that Android 12 brings compared to 11 and only thing you can risk is to get some bugs in botched OS upgrade. Sony did that once to XZ2/XZ3 ownders with Android 10. PRO-I is really one of the best Android phone outhere and it would be such a shame if they screw it's performance with some botched upgrade.

When bottom most model from Samsung gets probably better software support than Sony's 4x and more expensive phones, I wouldn't call that funny, I'd call that super sad that Sony still thinks they can pull such stunts. There are people with 1500€ Sony phones and they'll be lucky to get 2 major OS updates. Let that sink in for a bit.
