LG's mobile division died a while back, but not entirely, as it seems.

sterijuanna, 16 Mar 2022I want LG to come back honestly. Their phones were more con... moreIkr. While most popular brands removing the still-relevant headphone jack and microSD card support, LG even managed to throw in some brilliant Quad DAC audio system. Even in the case of Velvet 5G, LG could still give actuve stylus support DeX-like Desktop Mode, something that neither the A52 nor A72 models got.

The Android Freak, 16 Mar 2022It's sad that companies like LG and HTC not did well. ... morePoor software support is what ultimately tanked LG sales, along with slow in adjusting to market trend. I mean, look at the flagships V60 and Velvet with 60Hz display and no telephoto lens in 2020.

P-jain, 16 Mar 2022How about the updated on LG G8x Thinq series devices? Will ... moreG8X and V50 is projected to receive Andorid 12 OS update, but no one knows when both phones will get it.

The Android Freak, 16 Mar 2022It's sad that companies like LG and HTC not did well. ... moreI'd say marketing though. LG didn't sell their phones in a lot of countries. The last LG smartphone to be officially sold in my country was the V30. And then, all of a sudden, LG mysteriously pulled out from my country.

If LG can do this despite being no longer in the smartphone market, it should be zero excuse for other OEM to give support on older phones. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to see Android 12 OS update on the V60, the Wing, and the V50.

It's sad that companies like LG and HTC not did well. It's just due to software support. I had many devices from LG and they had terrible software support. I don't see any other reason.

How about the updated on LG G8x Thinq series devices? Will they get Android 12? Any news or leaks?

I want LG to come back honestly. Their phones were more consumer friendly than most current brands imo.

Android 13 was also "promised" as update. Shame they didn't implement the Velvet Pro's UI.

I liked LG phones. They were better than certain ScamSung’s

Xiaomi & Redmi: why must me?! 🙄
