It's just that prices are absurd for Xiaomi brand. Xiaomi should price it competitively. At the most 600USD for 8+256. 1000USD is too much.

          But i would still pick sd 870/865 over 888 especially if you are poweruser. Flash 3rd party kernel overclock it to 900-1000mhz you get more perfomance than sd 888 and it will be cooler too.

They will probably rebrand the k50 with the dimensity 8100 as the pro model or maybe the k50 pro but the k50 pro would be around 600-700 euro in Europe which might be too expensive for a pocophone

There's not much 8K capable monitor/TV on the market and it costs very high.. So if you can afford 8K monitor then you should go for higher end phone...

                            So in summary, very little reason to upgrade from the F3.

                            Perhaps the camera performance will be improved upon. Maybe improved software also. Maybe a display bump also?

                            Basically they'll try to improve anything that isn't the chipset, because that is a global pain-point right now.

                            Honestly I think that if you have a phone that is less than 2 years old, and you are generally happy with it, then I'd skip the 2022 upgrade cycle entirely at this point - unless there is a catastrophic failure obviously (it gets lost, broken, stolen, etc).

                              Okay, I’m honestly waiting for Redmi K50 Poco variant but it seems it won’t happen anytime soon.

                                      I'll keep the x3 pro, x3 GT, and f3 for now. I'm happy to have them -- real value for money considering the performance they provide -- I'm hoping for Poco to release a better upgrade after the x4 and f4 series, and wishing they won't disappoint in terms of sales performance --knowing you have better options out there.

Neweat socs have throttling issues and also heating up alot. Xiaomi didnt do good job in 12 series so...cannot see Poco doing either. So for me 870 is sensible option. It is only 400points in single core behind sn8th generation.
