The 12 is nowhere near the level of photography of the Nexus 6 Pro, the iPhone Pro or Samsung. Xiaomi is no value for money. Or even just value. I never loved the current Ultra. MIUI is a great iOS rip-off, but a bit buggy.

Considering how pretty much all phones today look the same from the front, I welcome changes in the back of the phone.

Im naively waiting for a new model with exactly same features of mi 11 ultra, and plus (+) a 5mp macro feature.

I used M51 for a couple of weeks and its macro feature totally changed my idea about macro ability.. and since then i decided that macro is a must..

they did mi 10 ultra with macro feature.. but without IP rating.. : (
and this one has IP 68 but no macro.. : / I humbly hope it will happen soon..

Looks hideous. Xiaomeme has no concept of "design language". Each new phone looks radically different from the previous, they just don't care. It's like whatever.

                      NEVER AGAIN MIUI 😕
I didn't like their skimpy update policy too. Older devices might get new MIUI but with some features removed with a few bugs thrown in. Planned obsolescence.

They tend to hide ANdroid versions and hype the MIUI versions. There is also constant disconnect between Android versions and MIUI. New phones get both latest, slightly older just remain on old Android with new MIUI. And it's so stupid and annoying.

I wonder if it will have brand new camera hardware or use the same camera hardware from the Mi 11 Ultra but with Leica's lens.
