Looks like OnePlus 10R won't be an entirely new smartphone.

Bigger v smaller screens, thinner (less battery) v thicker (larger battery), amoled v LCD, cameras v sound quality, the list is endless and it's about what sacrifices folks are prepared to make to get the handset of their choice. I personally would take larger battery over faster charging every time. I'm also in the minority who won't buy a phone with an amoled screen as they affect my eyes and give me headaches and I don't need the greatest camera either but can't live without stereo speakers. Everyone has their personal preferences and that's why it's not easy to make the 'perfect' phone for everyone.

1+ might as well not exist at this point, first they used to copy (I mean literally borrow) the elder sibling Oppo, now they just re-use the younger/lesser sibling Realme, pathetic!!

Acorns, 27 Mar 2022So phone + portable battery charger is a better option then?Yep, over 5k is pretty useless and impact the weight amongst the 'fake' (2MP and certain 5MP) optics (it's not much but adding 'useless' thing ...) ;-)

I have high hopes for D8100. It should have SD888 performance but power consumption that is way less. It may even be better than D9000.

Furkan, 27 Mar 2022Xiaomi is way better than OneplusAt least OnePlus had USB 3.1 since 2019, use OPPO's charging tech, which seems safer to me than Xiaomi's, and I prefer OxygenOS over MIUI, so basically what you said is just an opinion.

Furkan, 27 Mar 2022Xiaomi is way better than OneplusThey are both very similar. After all they are buying the same components from the same companies and stacking them together. Oppo manufacturers most high end Oneplus phones. Xiaomi doesn't manufacture their own phones. They outsource to companies like BYD. For low end Redmi phones Xiaomi basically just slaps the Redmi logo on them. The design and manufacture is outsourced to ODMs. Not sure about Oneplus low end phones but it is likely to be the same. The main difference is the software skins and software optimization but the software from both offer similar functionality.

                                        oneplus do copying be like:
