At least finaly good gaming CPU.
Apple is maybe faster but only on paper when comes to games like pacman or mahjong it throttling and overheats and sweats much more than John Bower Minnoch when rolling on bed.

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2022Weak...Yes, the M1's GPU is quite weak compared to powerful GPUs. Didn't you know that?

Huaweip, 29 Mar 2022should I feel bad for buying the 9900k?No. If you want to upgrade then upgrade to 13th gen as those will be based on new 7nm node by Intel. Current version is based on a revision of 10nm node by Intel. 7nm will being efficiency with same performance level or more power with same electricity draw.
9900K is great and a capable processor.

The comment section is full of Apple fanboys defending M1. Funny thing is, the article technically has nothing to do with M1. Most things that you can do with this CPU don't even work with M1.

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2022It's a desktop CPU. What don't you get?I do get that, I am just talking about their regular approach, in all their products, compared to ARM architecture. They are inefficient and the fact that you are plugged in shouldn't be an excuse for that. The mixed powerful + energy saving cores strategy is welcomed but is definitely not enough. This multibillion dollar company needs to do more instead of just multiplying cores and increasing frequency if they want to truly advance. I now hope you get me.

No laptop currently in existence can match the M1 Max MacBook Pro step-for-step in more than one or two categories, much less across the board.
