We all miss the times when we could replace the battery at least....if we can get that back, then alas, let it be fast charging from 0 to 100 in 30 seconds, if the battery is damaged in month, we just replace it.:))) But, as we stand, 30 W is more than enough.

45w/65w is more than enough, you don't even need a charged phone to breathe! after that fast charge, the rest is marketing with 65 is more than enough, they put it from 0 and in 35 minutes they have more than 70% charge

Right to repair act will demand all manufacturers to supply spare parts and to repair products for 10 years.
France is ahead with the law already in power from January 2021.
I’m not sure about software updates though.

Funny how some youtubers make ppl believe Apple or Samsung was first to have the " charge up to 80% , then stop and restart to finish only when user wakes up".

Not a gimmick when you forget to charge your phone. And you have to quickly shower and charge the phone before you need to out and maybe take a few pics and vids. Or use the internet to check out a few things. Or GPS and a map service or something. Or order a taxi using an app or something. Real handy.

The EU's idea is good, but 7 years of updates is too long, 5 years of updates and parts available for 7, seems more reasonable.
Hardware changes a lot in 5 years, you can only update so much..

Well... Ladies and Gentlemen... My K50 Gaming Edition is still in the post... On its way with a 120w charging brick... I love the idea of having different range of charging speeds. But having 120w ability is awesome. Great for those moments you forgot to charge your phone. Or you have some commitments to attend and literally a few minutes inbetween to get a quick top up. I mean how useful is that?
And yes I am a gamer. With a red magic device at the moment. Gaming phones are really the way to go these days as a strong common sense approach to a good, strong performing phone. And a good price to performance spec ratio too.
The batteries are big and strong. And mine has lasted ages so far. Really well infact. Both quick and slower charging too. My gaming phone is like it's still brand new. Really strong and looked after. But robust.
I am so impressed with gaming phones. That I have ordered another one. A different brand. And I am very thoughtful when it comes to battery specs and tech and charging abilities...
But 120w charging is absolutely fine for me...
Its game on for us gamers... And those without gaming phones... It's game over for you...

1 minute = 2% charged
30 minutes = 50 - 60% charged
1 hour = full charge
This is my minimum fast charging speed
