... morein reply to all those loving the iphone, watch the review (http://www.apple.com/iphone/guidedtour/) and you wil see the GPS is nothing but a tracking system, and just google maps. It will show you where everything is, but not turn by turn like a navman!!
buy it, do it, but you will be cursing when it is siting in ur draw collecting dust.
This does not;
* Bluetooth (accept or send photos/videos/music)
* GPS
* MMS
* come with a home charger!
* come with an instruction manual.

iphone is a real entertainer mobile which really threads Nokia even though it has some bugs,several vanders try to make a Iphone killer but eventually end up with making a cheap iphone clone EX xepria , prada etc so Iphone still a revolution , but Nokia has announce their touch mobile which is to release some way around 1Q 2009 ,so the expectations so high on Nokias Touch and it might be Iphone killer.

Its 2mp camera although only 2mp was extremely clear on its 3.5 inch screen.
The only down about the iphone was that you can not mms off it.
It is revolutionary technology and no other phone, personal organiser compares to it at the moment

i sold my 16gb iphone for 300 bucks just to get SE K850i ... for those of you who are lazy to carry laptop around just get iphone but but if you wanna a cellphone get any phone(SE, Nokia, HTC, Moto, or LG) but an iphone because it's worthless.

I hope everyone else stays clear of it, I know ppl with no sense will still buy it. but DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE. This si now, after a few days, sitting in my draw and I am paying for something I am not using!!!

$199 is a Price for iPhone when its under Contract with service provider like AT&T / Cingular.
In India, if iPhone is launched Contract Free "UNLOCKED" thru Airtel/Vodafone, expect it to be not less than $500 or Rs.20000
If its ever launched for Rs.8000/$199 & that too Contract Free "UNLOCKED" which HIGHLY UNLIKELY, it will create a STROM in the Mobile Phone Market.......Crushing Nokia & other major players.
iPhone thru "JAIL-BROKEN" route is already a Success in the GREY MARKET.
No Doubt Official Launch is Highly Anticipated here in India.

hi i think i would not pay 600$ for a non contract iphone. first of all i would not like be tied down to one service provider. and to pay that hefty sum is utter nonsense . i would prefer to buy nokia n96 as it definetly got more features thatn iphone. i heard even nokia is coming with its own touch screen and it is definetly worth it for nokia then to buy iphone. its only a phase. when nokia launches its touch screen iphone will definetly bcukle under competition.

iPhone still has some work to do before I may consider it. However, everyone that keeps posting here about other phones with Win Mobile OS must be mad. I have Win Mobile Pro 6.1 on my HTC Tilt and the UI sucks!!. Slow, clunky, inefficient. But that is par for anything Microsoft builds.
If Apple could boost the features on this phone they could call themselves a player. Their UI is the best out there.

Apple and ATT, they think we are here stupid..What is this ? what kind of plan is this ?..Hey, so what? iphone 3g ? so? who cares? i was using razr v3xx 1 year ago and i had 3G LOOOOL.. and mms, and video recording and more more, and i was paying 19.99 unlimited data and text and mms..we will pay 30.00 for data plan and no free sms ? oh myyyy goood....for what ? for some big screen and full of games phone ?....go away please ????

i am wondering why is the price so high just for a touch screen and its ridiculously high here in little barbados i think that it should be for less and hope they start some business in the caribbean because it is of high demand down here
