This is BS. Since the update I cannot even charge my ipad pro on multiple plugs and cords.
What is going on Apple?>????? I cnanot spend 8 hours idea on IT issues when it clearly is not user issue.

since installing 15.4.1 i now have a battery drainon my 1 phone12 that i never had before and i notice it on my watch 6 and also especially on my watch3 the worst which almost goes to empty by the end of the day that my wife wears (overnight it drops 30 per cent by morning

Weird, I never had battery drain issues, but now that this fix for battery drain was applied, battery seems to go down significantly faster. Hm.

my battery was great until 15.4.1 now its draining 50% faster than before.

After the update iPadOS 15.4.1 on an iPad Air 2, the battery drains with a 10% per 15 min rate while browsing in Safari with low level of screen intensity! So a full charge last not even 3 hours, while battery was replaced last year.

After 15.4.1 update my battery is still bad. I got from 8 hours screen on time with ios 15.3.1 to only 4 hours with ios 15.4.1 like wtf apple....

I have installed the iPadOS 15.4.1 in a iPad Air 2, however the battery drain is worst. for Apple consideration

The new version the iPadOS 15.4.1 is installed in an iPad Air 2, but I have notice that the battery drain is significantly worst!!!!!!something for considertion.

It will be permanent damage no recovery unlike android bug that can still be fixed. even if you change battery the battery drain will not improved unless you buy new iphone and become big sheep

Well my iPad Air 2 battery drained extremely fast following the 15.4 update. It is a new battery fitted only 2 months ago. I jumped at the opportunity to fix the battery drain as soon as 15.4.1 was released and the outcome….. it’s worse! From a full 100% charge down to 68% charge in the 5 hours that the pad was left unused in sleep mode. I had no apps open other than system in background.
I also noted on the update that Bluetooth was automatically turned on after the install had finished and I shut that off as I’m using wifi internet connection. Now I’m using the pad I it appears that the battery charge % is dropping 1% every minute.

Please understand one thing. Battery life gets better by reducing CPU and GPU speed.
They don't do magic to fix it. So you end up with a less capable phone than the day you first got it.

B a n reddy, 01 Apr 2022After updating 15.4.1 my mobile 8plus was draining too fast Battery is drained faster after every update. It'll settle down after a day or so. It's why iPhones always feel snappy even if they are years old without a single factory reset in between. They do cleanup and maintenance after update is applied. Have been so for years.
