Finally! I have been waiting for the 7** chip. I don't need the "best of the best" now, it's very expensive, even more expensive nowadays. I'm satisfied with "Good", but affordable.

Zero, 05 Apr 2022Indeed. I do expect the following configs: - 8G1 - 1X Core... moreThat sounds reasonable but it’s not complicated enough to be a Snapdragon lineup. This misses stuff like

        - 6 Gen 1 4G-only which is actually faster than the 5G variant because they could save cost with the modem
        - 4 Gen 1 having 4 high performance cores but they are an older generation
        - 6 Gen 1 5G using like older small cores for whatever reason
        - 4 Gen 1 supporting 120 Hz displays but 6 Gen 1 only supports 90 Hz displays, but it does support up to 200 MP cameras while the 4 Gen 1 only supports 64 MP cameras, but the 4 Gen 1 supports 4K30 and 4K60 video recording while the 6 Gen 1 supports only 4K30 but also 4K24
        - a random rebrand of the 662 but at a smaller node popping up in the middle of the year
        - changing the name of the first mentioned 6 Gen 1 to 6.5 Gen 1 After 4 months

Finally a true successor to the 778G.
At least now manufacturers won't have the excuse to put the SD 6 series garbage in their phones.

it was a logical step. Into the next 1-2 years, all the new arm SoC (low to end chips) from anyone will be with v9 tech. This is the end to 32bit chips

This getting more and more cunfusing like xiaomi naming their phones.

Maybe this would be a SoC worth buying. Without overheating and power hungry X core but a lot of computing power. Hell, even 870 can do everything you want.

This sounds like it might be Qualcomm's comeback along with S8G1+. What I'm sceptical is the pricing.

                            For 2023 a mix of A710 + A720 + A510 will be made.

Curious to see if octa A510 becomes 4g1 or 6g1.

I guess this is it, this would be the chipset on the Nothing Phone (1)

Finally, now for Mediatek as well.

if they actually using TSMC fabrication, then i would to buy worth than S(c)amsung fabrication.
