hassenesoua1, 10 Apr 2022I don't get why but the releases from Xiaomi in 2022 a... moreIn 2020, the Redmi Note 9 series was also disappointing and criticised for not having HRR display and worse camera than Note 8 Pro. Later in the year, Xiaomi launched the well-received Poco X3 and Mi 10T series. Hope they will again surprise us with their upcoming models

        Not surprising.

For those who commented about it being overpriced by 50-100 USD, It is not really overpriced if you ask me. For extra 50-100 USD you get:

        Best AMOLED screen in class
        3.5mm
        JBL sound setup
        256/8GB
120W WHOPPING charger (with the charger included!)
Dimensity 920 which is very versatile and not even warming up when playing MOBA games. This alone beats SD888, SD 8 gen 1, and other SD variants.
        108MP sensor.

No other brands, i repeat, no other brands can offer such in a package for the same price.

HM2 is a second class sensor. Nobody intelligent will get that at $370 with a sea of available yesteryear flagships out there.

Poco F4 Pro is one of the most awaited phones of 2022 probably lol

hassenesoua1, 10 Apr 2022I don't get why but the releases from Xiaomi in 2022 a... moreI couldn't agree more. Xiaomi's bang for buck used to be unparalleled. While MIUI isn't great, the hardware was great and you could flash a custom ROM. Now we just have endless variants which are always a massive 6.67". I have the Realme 9 Pro+, and it's a great phone with a superior camera (according to GSMA's reviews).

I don't get why but the releases from Xiaomi in 2022 are awful compared to last year, phones seem aren't as exciting as before when its about price/performance. I hope they manage to wake up, the redmi note series 11 are almost all disappointing, same goes for the poco x4 pro, we expected better successors for the 2021 models but we were given barely an "upgrade"
