Sony's PlayStation VR2 headset may have been delayed to next year

Sony never officially announced a launch date, but everyone was assuming that the holiday season of 2022 is the target.

    They got delayed because of the Oculus Quest wireless super good.

      With entire countries without a single PS5 available at retail price it would not make sense to launch another expensive accessory.

        Chance is that they gonna announce it along with PS5 slim. I wouldn't hold my breath for the Pro since PS5 is only 2yo+ next year.

          Yes. At this point I might as well wait until the PS5 Pro comes out. Since Sony botched the PS5 launch I was not able to get one at launch like I normally do. And I'm not about to pay more than the retail price. But I have been able to snag two Series X boxes. One at launch and one in late 2021.

            if thats the case 2023 is the possible date of the ps5 pro release i guess.

              They will probably launch with the PS5 Pro as it might need better processing power for that high resolution and refresh rate.
