Metal molds show only two sizes of iPhone 14: 6.1" regular and 6.7" Max

18 April 2022
As expected, the mini is a thing of the past. Some things won't change, however, e.g. the non-Pro models still won't have a dedicated tele camera.

Mini counted 5% of sales.

14 Max will surely count for more than 15%. Evidence that size is why mini failed to sell.

They're gonna sell like hotcakes anyway, but even so... there's no incentive.

Even though I already own S22U, I would've bought an iPhone mini if it had 120 Hz + iPhone Pro Max cameras. :/ I'd love to own a small but flagship phone.

So if the non Pro iPhone 14 models will use the same chip used in the iPhone 13 phones, it should mean that they'll be considerably less expensive than the Pro models. Will they be using the same camera as well? But if the new camera sensor would be reserved for the Pro models, what would make the non Pro phones different from iPhone 13?

So much for them making the camera flush this year. Maybe in 2034!
