Started my device journey with Nokia 1100.
I became smart and a smartphone graced me
The "N-Series 73"; Camera - the best 3.2MP shooter out there,Music : Loud in the crowd. Then my usage increased and it slowed down, but still I cherish the moments I clicked with it.
I grew smarter Got the King of "Photography" The "N-Series 8", It was truly the last fight of a die-ing GIANT.
Now,I am confused where to go;what to go Next. Was always optimistic Nokia will do something to symbian BUT...
Thank U for making me SMART.. SYMBIAN...

MOBILEMAN, 24 Jan 2013nokia-ENRON FAIL!!!! hahaha... this elop guy sucks...i dont... moreNOkia has been continually trying 2 resuscitate a still born OS (Symbian/Simian) 4 ages now, they finally realized that their stubbornness has been removing the ground below their feet! However, 4 NOkia 2 truly survive and flourish again, they need 2 diversify their product offerings from jst phones to various other products - the mobile industry is at it's biggest ever boom, and NOkia would be real suckas not to cash in on it! Bill Gates maybe very generous, but Ballmer-led Microsoft won't be givin out leases of life 2 NOkia 4ever!

Symbian has been the most important OS up to date. Every other mobile OS has Symbian roots, be it design, functionality or ability to evolve. I have only been a Symbian fan since S60, proud owner of 5800, 5230, N97 and currently using C7. I am being very patient with C7 so I can keep it till this summer just to get 808, the last of the Mohicans. RIP Symbian, times are very tricky and you were just the first victim.

sad day, first Nokia 1100/2004 still use it daily, will keep using my Symbian phones,
C5 / C7 and N8 untill they fail, nothing else will match Nokia Symbian Belle, have bought spare ones so can avoid having to move to other OS, Symbian will continue lots out there.

Best mobile operating platform ever made. Mad respect to Symbian. What a great loss it will be for all the people who have been and will be born into a world without knowing about Symbian. I think everyone on this website at one point in their lives have either owned or atleast used a Symbian device before.

Farewell Symbian :-( I am really sad to see u go. I ve started learning smartphone technology with u and am all tears that u are no more.... My collection of symbian devices started from 3230,6681,N72,N79,N81,N95,9210i,Nokia C5, 5235 and 701... I grew up with symbian OS version starting with S80, S60v1, S60v2, S60v3,S60v5 and Symian Belle and wish Nokia would bring back this MIGHTY OS which ruled the mobile world for a DECADE. I would love to see you back SYMBIAN.

in spite of this, my 3310 is still alive and kicking. so are my 6100 and 6600, save for their spent BL-5C batteries. my C7 has already been sold, but it's still in its peak condition, in the hands of my workmate. adios symbian. hopefully, Nokia can produce its own OS again, and in wishful thinking, it better be something like Sailfish, or even Sailfish itself. for now, my HOX is still capable of serving my needs. until that day comes when Nokia releases a real monster-performance phone, I'm sticking with my HOX, or even get myself an Xperia Z =))
