    A sad ending story for Symbian OS because of its rival were too strong.. Maybe, someday the new Symbian OS will be born with the new style UI that is specialized for Nokia Smartphone and the future phone. Good Luck Nokia, all your phone were great.

        Personally I never had luck of using/utilizing Symbian. Have jumped directly from S40 to Android.
        Nokia S40 like 3310->6020->7210->Android

            Sad Day!

              This is a really sad day, the end of a chapter in the mobile industry. I embraced Symbian from 2007 to 2012, I previously had a 6230 since 2005 but once I jumped to the Symbian bandwagon with my 6681 I never looked back to feature phones. Then I got a 5700XM (great speakers and cool rotating keypad) an E63 (the best keypad back then) an E5 (super fast with its zippy processor and big RAM) and the end of the road was a C6-01 which I updated to Belle and had unmatched navigation capabilities . What a great bunch of phones I'll never forget. I may give WP a try... But not yet. There are some things that need improvements. Until then I'll try Android. Farewell Symbian.

Nokia Still Gave It Tought Against Android But Still . All People Who Think Android Can Last For 12 years ?? , Most People Are Getting Bored Of It Already . R.I.P Symbain , Can't Stop Crying :'(

                    Good bye, Symbian. The true mobile OS. Built in file manager, true multitasking, device password truly burn into hardware (device password not gone eventhough full reinstall), phone can switch on to ring alarm on low battery, better Swype than Android version, ... & etc.

                                        The devices Nokia 700, 701 and 808 Pureview are my phones until I can see propermultitasking for Lumia phones and 100% bullet proof bluetooth transfers. Also changing the size of the text fonts and recording my phone calls without issues.
                                        I demand that Nokia Belle PR2 goes open source cause it has finally matured and I cant see anything so sad in my whole tech life and I am now nearly 50 years old.
                                        Open source for Symbian Belle Now!
