Rest in peace Symbian. But I'll still be using my Nokia N8 from time to time though I've now moved on to a Nokia Lumia 920. Symbian may have died now but the phones itself like my N8 seems like brand new still. Not even a single scratch from 2 years of use.

Go for Android, you guys will not survive with Windows Phone alone. No symbian for basic and mid range phones?

Actually the best Symbian S60v5 (touch screen) device did not come from Nokia but from Samsung, the Omnia HD I8910.

Yes even better than n97 since it featured a 3.7" AMOLED screen and vastly better 600MHz single core CPU and 256MB ram.

Yesterday I bought an nokia c6-01 and i am not sorry,is a good one and this phone is the last one with symbian in last 7 years(i still have parts from years ago in a box).Good luck Nokia but don't stay only on WM because is very boring. bye symbian OS. Nokia was, will and always number one here in the phil. From 3650,n70,n71 ,c5,x6,n8 to lumia 920..im proud to say that u truly are c0nnecting people. Symbian was the most popular os here where in fact, locals created community website exclusive for symbian user. As i heard this news, i switched directly to my 7yrs old n70 which is still damn in very good condition and currently writing this comment. King of multitasking, quality, service and OS. Symbian rocks

I'm still using Symbian Belle OS in my E6. People should know that Symbian is a great Operating System.
And for me, It's not so easy deciding between the Nokia 808 Pure View and the Lumia 920, because Nokia has always given us a great standar of quality with Symbian. And It's so likely that I'll get the 808 Pureview.
I'm really satisfied with my E6.
I want the people and specially Nokia know this: I'm happy with the Symbian Operating System.
I just want to say: Thank You Nokia for your great and beautiful phones. Whatever You decide, no matter which Operating System you'll use and develop, We'll be right there with You Nokia. I'm a Nokia Fan and I have planned to buy my new Nokia phone soon.
But,please, don't forget to include the great features You always had in your Symbian handsets.
