Using wired earphones instead of disposables that die with the battery reduces CO2 emissions!

Did that myself. S20 brand new screen 200usd, battery 15usd. Phone feels like new, no need upgrade. I did that after i returned S22 to Samsung, very poor battery life, happy with my renewed S20.

Warranty does not cover screen damage

FatShady, 20 Apr 2022even under warranty they charge for it? they shouldn't... moreSo when ppl crash their cars they should get repairs for free when the car is under warranty?

A cracked screen is 100% the users fault, either they dropped it, sat on it, ran it over with a car, threw it against the wall, etc...

Maybe you're confusing it with Apple care, which is an extra that you pay for, kinda like car insurance (although car insurance is technically mandatory). Apple care is just a few dollars a month but reduces the repair costs to something like $50-$100 depending on the phone model.

FatShady, 20 Apr 2022even under warranty they charge for it? they shouldn't... moreA cracked screen isn't under their warranty. It's not a flaw, it's physical damage. Most manufacturers won't cover physical damage under their warranty.

You might be thinking of their extended warranty, AppleCare+. This costs extra money but allows you to get a screen replacement for $29 regardless of model.

xocomaox, 20 Apr 2022It's not free. It will cost $329 to repair an iPhone 1... moreeven under warranty they charge for it? they shouldn't call it warranty if they charge people if the products are still under warranty.

joe nodden, 20 Apr 2022Nothing but a scam. I mean $25 for a cracked V30? Nobody... moredid they really put a 13 pro max as an option for trading ? the hell are they thinking trying to scam people like that. its a new phone and still under warranty, even if its screen is cracked getting a replacement should be free if you live in a city/country with a crapple store.

It seems to me that samsung is already going the way of LG, for what kind of stupidity in the name of saving the earth! marketing and publicity stunt, is this?

i fail to see the point of samsung by misdirecting the customer with the reason of saving earth ... to buy overprice used phone and still release new phones every 3 to 4 months including accessories ... and how many people still think its the right move ??? come on ... wake up ...

Somehow buying last year's S21+ model for $850 just seems really bad. Especially since it launched at only $1,000.

Nothing but a scam. I mean $25 for a cracked V30? Nobody's trading in their barely used iPhone 13 Pro Max for an overpriced used S21 Ultra with an inferno of an SoC.

Trade ins are always a scam for companies to get away with false advertising on prices.

doing all kind of shit to get people to buy their overpriced crap.
