Anonymous, 24 Jan 2013First of all, I'm not Nokia fan boy or any else & curre... moreWP is better than Symbian?
    hmm, let's see...

    1. Symbian supports true multitasking, WP doesn't.
    2. Symbian supports Bluetooth FTP, WP doesn't.
    3. Symbian supports video call via 3G network, WP doesn't.
    4. Symbian supports USB drive, WP doesn't.
    5. and so on... and so on...

Peanuts profit. Lumia 920 sales will decrease as new and better phones will appear this spring/summer. What's the next Nokia top phone? No one knows. Anyway, it will be launched in the autumn the earliest. Until then Nokia 920 sales will continue to decrease. Just be realistic, this is a swan song for Nokia.

looks like most of people who write comments here don't read this part:
          "Nokia's good performance was largely
thanks to its SIEMENS NETWORK division
while Devices and Services is still some
way from returning to profitability even
          though its performance is improving."

          the paragraph means:
Nokia Siemens Network division is in good condition,
Nokia phone division is still not in good condition.

I will never forget what a Nokia spokesperson said about the merger of the Siemens and BenQ mobile divisions all those years ago: "two turkeys don't make an eagle". Well, it now appears Nokia finally turns some profit, thanks to Nokia-Siemens Networks; how ironic...

Besides, this gives the device a lot of sturdiness and solidity. You don't know cr*p about L920 and thought you were good enough to comment on it. Get the f*ck outta here Lagdroid fanboy. May be it's time to check on your Android device if it has rebooted automatically. :0

16 500 less employees than a year ago. 5% market share of smartphones for the whole year. The total number of phones sold went down 24 PERCENT. This is not good news.
