I seriously have a feeling that according to the teaser, it might be using a vari-aperture lens.
Also, I feel they will try to use an optically zooming lens (if possible), since the Vario-Tessar name is used for zooming lenses (as far as I know). I am not sure about the latter though, maybe I could be wrong.

Only downside is the fact is not easy to tune correctly white balance.
WRGB screens for example do not have colour accuracy on pair with RGB.
But is possible to do well for camera. Just not easy.

I'm not sure if RGBW array will help in daylight condition, but I'm definitely interested to see its performance in low light or dark conditions.
