Flip 3 is a great device for emulation. Just love playing F-Zero GX in Flex mode using a 8Bitdo SN30 Pro. Would place it on my chest while lying down. I hear the throttling and heat on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is even worse than the 888 and it's not much different. Makes me worry a little on the Razr 3 but I just can't tolerate 765G on the Razr 5G any longer.

I think the sales will disappoint, i don't think they will find enough users. A lot of current fold 3 and z flip 3 users have already switched their foldables to something else. eBay is full of them with half a price and even cheaper. Also Samsung is selling them with discount and giving laptops etc if someone buys them.
For me foldables are like VR, companies tried to sell them, but markets just said No and VR stayed very niche thing.

Funny that Samsung owns the folding market outside of China basically and still makes price cuts.
For those who talk about grease it is not an issue when used at least for me, bigger inside screen of the gen 1 fold is just so good even if i hope 90hz- 120hz panel for my next foldable/rollable.
I am actually thinking about will i upgrade to fold 3 if its price will be slashed good or will i wait for competition device which could come next year, probably not this year. At least fold 1 is on android 12 and getting security updates at least till 2023 september.
With Samsung the software support(4 years of android updates and 5 years of security updates) is just so good that i am leaning towards Samsung foldable/rollable.

Samsung..? If there's anything interesting enough to attract more customers then give the z series more battery life(undermining fast charge for now),solve the crease issues and the flip specifically should be unveiled with a unique camera setup (unlike the fold that deserves big megapixels)
Suggesting;50mp GN1 primary sensor (*dual pixel PDAF)
50mp GN1 ultra-wide sensor with telophoto ability (including optical and hybrid zoom)
And a 3d TOF sensor attached close to the flash.

Samsung you stop this already,the fold and flip are not phones for everyone like A series slabs and even if those upcoming z series are better than their predecessors they should come in reasonably small quantity (no matter what is a stake).

Samsung galaxy Z fold 4 biggest problems are going to be the crease on the main display and the durability of the hybrid phone. Until Samsung can fix the crease on the display and make the hybrid phone more durable and cost way less in price I won't waste my hard-earned money on this expensive fragile hybrid phone. Let's not forget the repair cost on the hybrid phone is way too expensive now. Samsung needs to do a lot more work on their folders phones before I can even consider this expensive luxury item.🤣😂😎

It's already 4th gen, cannot compare to those 1st ten ones in terms of price with production getting bigger. But what about those that does not exists or are not available...
Of course they will sell a lot.

That crease on the screen isn't worth the extra inch or so of screen real estate. Biggest regret buying the fold 3 and trading in my note 10+.

What kind of company wouldn't expect to sell more? It's business 🤦🏼♂️ everyone that is why you will never hear someone in the business industry that they'll be expecting less of their products or services. HOWEVER, one thing's consistent - ONLY TIME CAN TELL.
