[deleted post]I am a user of both Android and iOS, not everyone wants Android and not everyone wants iOS...either way it doesn't mean they are poor....just that they have a choice.
And in the end, personal choice is all that matters.
The OTT hate towards others is weird and pointless...I give zero s**ts to what brand I use at the time....they are all phones / devices that serve a purpose

This is exactly THE thing! If user is happy with what they have they don't see reason to switch. Apple have made it very difficult to leave Apple because everythings works so well and they have awesome exosystem, It's irrelevant if there's better options
Because you are happy with what you have, when you aren't then you start to seek other options, just like what many android users do just to realize this other Android phone was no better and end of the day it was more or less the same they already had and then they bang their head to the wall again.

Fanboy hater , 25 Apr 2022I am not an apple zombie fanboy but I do use the iPad Pro 1... moreAlthough I haven’t bought any Android phone or windows computer for 12 years and I am 100% Apple I don’t consider myself an Apple fanboy. For some people customization or playing games on pc maybe are reasons not to like Apple but for me those two don’t matter. I got into Apple with a Mac and I simply liked that I had not to worry about viruses and that I used the computer for 8 years without the need to fix it once and because I was happy with the Mac I also tried an iPhone and an iPad and I was equally satisfied so I have simply decided to stick with Apple. I know that there are excellent devises on the other side but as long as I am happy with Apple devices I don’t see the reason to try any of those. What I know is that Apple devices are trouble free to use, I can do with them all I need to do, they are secure, they come with some interesting Apple Apps that do not exist on other platforms and they last very long (in fact I never had to fix any and I give them to relatives or friends when I upgrade) so I am happy with Apple. As simple as that.

you have to suffer, 25 Apr 2022MIUI?Ma in setting and in first time setup you find an option to completely remove all ads for once and for all and for good.
Compared to that even Iphone have or will have more ads because anything that makes them much more money they will soon or later allow such as sealed batteries, no jack, no sd slot good for buying cloud storage, no charger in box and many else.

2. No worries on software / hardware support
3. No worries on accessories
4. No worries on security
Man have to correct you.
If you dont upgrade your phone or IOS but will you continue upgrading your apps you will came to a point where your apps will refuse to work.
if you upgrade your IOS you have upgrade your apps too or soon they will refuse to work.
And if you keep your device as long as upgrades to IOS will come your internals gets old and exhausted and you ends up with 5-7 years old laggy buggy device not working properly.
Try latest IOS on Iphone 6s or 5 and you will see.
You can forget on multitasking and you can forget on most games.
And with the accesories i am not so sure. When EU will aprove Apple ,ust use USB-C chargers they will have no other choice but make a tons of E-Waste by making new chargers for their phones or switch to existing ones.

It’s always puzzled me this, I mean do Android user... moreI’ll bet. It’s telling that many of the Android faithful like to say Apple fans complain about features on Android right up until they are included in iOS. And that may be true in certain cases, I’ll admit.
But the opposite is equally true, Android fans seem quite vocal in their critical view of longer term software support……right up until they themselves get longer term software support.
I mean, isn’t Samsung up to a 4 year software support pledge or something? I know they are pretty much leading the Android pack right now in this regard. Where are all the fans saying ‘we don’t need it, we don’t keep our phones that long!!!’ cause I’ve either missed it, or it just ain’t happening.
