I'm kind of confused as to why people are like 'wow it looks so bland' when every product that Google has made has looked ''bland''. Maybe excluding the recent Pixel 6 series. And a lot of other smartwatches look simplistic too. Not sure what they were expecting.

Eager to learn about battery life and pricing/features. I kibda like the look but without any dial, like this, I'd prefer the GW4 I think. Saphire glass perhaps for protection ? I'll wait on that, and perhaps wait for next gen too, given how Google handle this since a few years.

Plot twist: The marketing department purposely left the Watch so that the bartender picked that up and indirectly generate hype. It's all marketing stonks right there.

The shape appears to be trying to suggest there is no, or very small bezel but in reality there is a large black ring around the watch on the surface suggesting they just can't seem to overcome the compulsion to have LARGE bezels wasting valuable screen real estate!
