There is no point to it, buy whatever you want, I don't care if it's a Realme, an iPhone or a Samsung S or A series, all I'm saying is that my phone simply doesn't lag bottom line that's it. Also if you are talking about the Exynos S22 then of course that lags due to the lack of optimization, but even the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 version can lag because of the same reasons or maybe overheating, but I know mine doesn't lag, that doesn't make it the best phone ever made it's just simply a fact about it.

Kangal, 02 May 2022You're right, but they're not straight rebrands. ... moreYou are right wit almost all of them, but the Realme X and the OnePlus 7 Pro had nothing to do with each other. 7 Pro had more cameras that were completely different and much better, it had an entirely different design and a 1440p curved 90 hz oled display instead of 1080p flat 60hz oled display and obviusly a different chipset as well.

But it looks like:
OnePlus One = Oppo Find 7a
OnePlus Two = new design
OnePlus 3 = new design
OnePlus 3t = new design
OnePlus 5 = Oppo R11
OnePlus 5t = Oppo R11s
OnePlus 6 = new design
OnePlus 6t = Oppo R17
OnePlus 7pro = Realme X
OnePlus 8pro = new design
OnePlus 9pro = Realme GTneo2
OnePlus 10pro = new design
...although some of these are "new design" they're pretty derivative work from other Oppo, Vivo, or Realme devices, or from previous OnePlus devices. Usually they're minor differences, but still classified as a "new design" instead of a proper "rebrand".

It's still not nearly as good as any "true" OxygenOS build.

I assume you don't have a Realme GT Master Edition, you have something else, pretty sure I know my phone better than you do and there is no lag on it. Thanks. :)

OnePlus' strategy in a nutshell.
1. Develop a fanbase from OP1 to OP6t by offering unmatched price/performance
2. Once the fanbase is large enough, start increasing price of new devices to match real flagships like Galaxy S lineup
3. Somehow actually forget to bring the quality on Samsung level
