Apple have fixed almost all the flaws why someone would buy Android instead of iPhone, sametime Google haven't done anything to fix Android, it's still same uncontrolled mess than what is always been, well actually it's worse. No wonder so many are switching to iPhone.

Not really surprising as they fixed a few issues and stayed on the course they set a long time ago.
It worked before, they made it work a bit better.
Not really planing on buying anything Apple, maybe new iPad Pro, but they made a few interesting (not automatically better) things.

It's mainly thermal performance. Where Apple is obviously better than android chips just because Apple chips are made for one system and certain models unlike Android's one.
