iPhone 6s had 1840 read speeds which they nerfed in the iPhone 7 and later LOL

Actually for phone storage , ufs 4.0 is the fastest. Faster than nvme used in iPhone.

Nvme in iPhone is nowhere near ufs 4.0 in speed. Iphone should move to ufs 4.0 for iphone 15.

Harsh tripathi , 09 Jan 2023I think UFS 4.0 and nvme perfomance are same. Good heavens no!! 😂 Nvme storage used in iPhones are not the same with the PCI E NVME storage seen on Mac books 💻 and desktop Pc please 🤣

AnonD-864404, 28 May 2022NVMe is the superior tech in storage. Not sure how it'... moreActually based on 14 pro max storage speeds, read is 1462.82MB/s and write is 1446.33MB/s against vivo x90 pro + read 3400.32MB and 2841.35MB write. Pls don't confuse a pcie 4.0 nvme on laptops and macbooks to what Apple use in iPhone, it is a numbed down version so it can work on phone. This ufs 4.0 is the fastest mobile storage right now and Apple may play catch again. Also android will finally beat iPhone in performance test as nvme random r/w has been making iPhone run smoother for a while now. You might feel like iPhone has lower read speed than even ufs 3.1, well is true but it has higher write speeds tha ufs 3.1 and thats why this is big news, more than 2x gain is too much.

It uses UFS 3.1 storage made by Sandisk and after 2 years, the performance of its storage DOESN'T decrease any more and I HAVE NEVER DONE ANY FACTORY RESET on my phone. I agree that NVME storage on iPhone is very fast and stable, but UFS storages in Android phones are still very good and stable, even with mid-range and sub-flagship phone. I hope you will have a better thought about what I said. Thank you!

That that's ALL you care about doesn't mean that that's ALL others should care about. Ever thought of that? There are many android phones that cost as much, and more, than iPhones. And there are many people who buy them over iPhones. Those that do, like myself, must have other things they regard as more important. Other factors they consider more significance in making their purchase decisions. To them, your "better" and "well" claims are grossly insignificant.

And, sorry to break it to you, overwhelming number of iPhone users wouldn't notice any difference IF their iPhones have the EXACT SAME storage and memory found in android phones of similar cost. They would have to notice to care about it.
