Anonymous, 04 May 2022All high end flagships have already swapped MicroSD with UF... moreThere are UHS-II U3 microSDXC SD cards available which have speeds of 275MB/s. That's very fast for regular usage and unless you are conducting quantum physic experiments on your phone and every NANOsecond counts, then you're good to go.
Also, nobody actually installs apps on the SD card - they're mostly used for backups or storage.
I would actually recommend Extreme Pro UHS-I SD cards from SanDisk (black and red). I've been using 3 of these SD cards (32GB, 128GB and 1TB) and I've never had a problem with them. Just make sure you buy it from a reliable store, as many stores will sell fakes. This is the main reason why so many people without any technical knowledge believe that the SD cards are slow: they buy very cheap brands or fake SD cards and then they think that all SD cards are like this.

Anonymous, 04 May 2022S22U and note 10 plus have usb 3 portsUnfortunately though the Samsung drivers (direct from the Samsung website) for Windows only connect at USB 2 speed though, making the whole experience unbelievably slow! It is literally slower than my WiFi. My desktop actually flags a warning up to say the phone would work better at USB 3. Tell me about it! It's exactly the same on a clean install of Windows and I've tried multiple different cables.

They have more problems just after OS updates.

All I need to know is that Android phones pretty much across the board are terrible with storage performance long term and iPhones aren't.
