RejZoR, 04 May 2022That's because UFS is not a guarantee for speed. That&... moreYou don't know what you're talking about.

Awesome! Now make it swappable and start replacing the microSDXC SD card with it. On HIGH-END flagships! I'm not interested in mid-range trash phones.

RejZoR, 04 May 2022That's because UFS is not a guarantee for speed. That&... moremy galaxy note 10+ with 12gb ram and 256gb rom is still snappy even with the rom being used up to 80% of its capacity.. and this phone is nearing its 3rd year since release. no factory resets done.

Patrick, 04 May 2022iPhones are using NVMe storages.NVMe is NOT a storage. NVMe is storage INTERFACE, just like UFS is storage INTERFACE. Big and important difference.

Bebochekov, 04 May 2022Well except for when Apple slowed down people's phones... moreLol? Really? You're really still dragging this battery thing to this day? Not only it's not relevant anymore, it has been ages since that thing, plus it's totally misunderstood because everyone was too busy raging about it to actually understand it.
Also, you're seriously complaining over iPhone while giving me advice to clear cache all the time and restart phone every week? That's a "solution"? I haven't cleared any cache on my iPhone for over 3 years. Haven't factory reset it for 3 years. Only time I even restart my iPhone is for software updates. I've maybe intentionally restart it myself like 2 years ago when I was still learning about it and applying "fixes" I used on Android phones before. Where manual restarting was quite a regular thing...

All you need to do on Android is clear the cache, remember to restart your phone once a week at least, and maybe a factory reset.

KondriX, 04 May 2022I don't think it will make a difference for smartphone... moreLike a camera sensor? It would take smart phone cameras to another level.

KondriX, 04 May 2022I don't think it will make a difference for smartphone... morethe only differences is the boot time, can you imagine how fast it will boot the entire system? and also the transfer speed. you dont have to wait another 2 minutes just to copy 5GB+ Folders and files.

you have to suffer, 04 May 2022Which phone model will use UFS 4?? can't wait to see I don't think it will make a difference for smartphones. Like they said in the article, this will be more useful for VR/AR equipment, automotive industry and so on, where a lot of data is being processed at the moment, like sensors info.
