This is what CalderCay and MrsCay, the infamous Samsung zealot couple who's always on the Samsung US community always blaming everyone else to defend Samsung, say to a Galaxy Fold user with the failing screen. This is how Samsung users are ridiculed by Samsung zealots in order to defend Samsung. Understandable how they got the "Hononary Contributor" title by Samsung.

I'll make a few points to these Samsung zealots.

You didn't need to post your needless comment. This is not the first time you say such a thing to users reporting Samsung's failure. Say precisely. You don't want to read negative feedbacks about Samsung.

And who sold that "a screen" you say it's a given that is going to fail here? Samsung. If that "at some point" is less than 2 years, less than normal usage cycle, and Samsung sold such failing things, then that only means Samsung is the failing company.

I'm not interested in what you'll bet. You bet all you want and that still doesn't create for you the posts you want to read. Going lurk in another company forum to dig any negativity about other company products as a diversion tactic... How pathetic. No, that's not going to solve Samsung's problems. It's the Samsung forum. Samsung sold that product, it's a Samsung consumer having problems with Samsung products.

You're only admitting that Samsung has been actively selling obviously failing products at high prices. And this is the specific case of the Samsung product. Don't try to generalize the problems occuring on the specific Samsung product by sneakily remove any reference to Samsung and only using indefinite words like "a folding screen", to make it sound as generic as possible, because that doesn't work. Not every folding screen is created equal. You can't generalize them like that.

One person here said they are buying a Sony, Huawei Mate Xs 2 and the ZTE Ultra. That was only in a span of 2-3 days. I guess they are buying a phone for everyday of the week.

I can understand that the Flip is very crammed and lacking the necessary space for the SD card slot, but not having it on the Fold is simply unacceptable. For such a huge device, it should also have the 3.5mm jack as well as the SD card slot. If those 2 features would have been available on the Fold, I'd be using one right new.
And no, it's not necessarily about the extra storage space, it's about having 2 drives on one phone at the same time.
Conclusion: NO SD card slot = NO BUY! => Switching to Sony

Waiting for the Razr 3 instead. I think my Razr 5G's lag is coming from its throttling. It can get hot pretty easily especially if I'm using it while it's being charged or it's hot outside and it's only a Snap765G. Why I turn battery saver on. Then again, if I got Razr 3, Snap 8 Gen 1 overheats worse than 888. The lag does annoy me. I'm thinking from the weaker chip but it's really from the throttling.

Anonymous, 05 May 2022I'll take the largest battery varient.I second that, I sold the z flip3 because it never lasted me a full day. Its the most common complaint for the flip3. Now they are increasing the battery size by a mere 100Mah when they could fix this fault but chose 100Mah more? I dont think anyone would mind if its a bit thicker or wider to accommodate a bigger battery to say at lest 3800Mah. what a joke; especially SD8 Gen1+ will use even more battery than before. similarly My old s21 Ultra have a better battery life than S22ultra because new chip are more power hungry even though we dont need it to be more powerful just need it to last Longer! Go figure you geniuses at Samsung

The beige could have been a popular color on the Flip, but when I visualize this color on the Fold, I don't like what I see. I'm not totally surprised though. The only consistent colors have been black.
