I just hope the Fold 4 will do the same, then i'll definitely be getting one.

If enough people complain about it, especially here or on Samsung's social media accounts, they will eventually bring it back like it has happened before with the S7 lineup.
Don't just blindly say yes to any bs they are trying to force us to accept. Stand your ground and try to get others on our side, especially since you clearly understand the importance of the SD card slot.
If all of the sudden, Samsung's pages are bombarded by fans that request the SD card slot on the high-end flagships, they'll eventually have to oblige. It is us, the customers who can make these kind of changes, not them who are basically downgrading all the high-end segment and in the same time they are more than doubling the price.
Fight for what you want!
Right now I'd be using a Fold or Note Ultra, but since it doesn't have the SD card slot, it's basically useless for me and my needs, therefore Sony is my only choice.
PS When Sony quit on the 3.5mm jack, I instantly went for Samsung. Now it's the other way around.

Saying the same thing 100 times won't make people care more, however.
Smartphone companies are honestly starting to not care about the SD card. Even if they are quite useful, at some point there will be no new phones with microSD support and you'll just have to live with it.
Although I already know you won't live with it.

No periscope? Then we are not missing out on anything. Fold 3 is strong as steel. Vivo x fold is a better option if released in India. Indian software is close to global.

W... moreu can eliminate the gap and crease like those that want to fold outward like huawei but then your screen isn't protected, so it's damned if you do damned if you don't... personally who cares about that slight gap and crease, which likely will be further reduced of course, but yeah easily something u can ignore *shrug🤷♂️

im skipping the fold 4 for the huawei mate xs2, not to difficult to get google apps on board, and i have a second phone anyway, the fold hasnt really appealed to me yet because of its chunky design and that awful front display and aspect ratio, huawei designs are far nicer, the x2 with its wedge design was simply excellent
