If it's priced at $350-370 where I live it'll definitely destroy Huawei MatePad 2022 that comes with Kirin 710A which performs even worse than the Exynos 9611 in 2020 version.
Wished they name it Tab A8 Plus instead of pulling a Redmi though...

Binko, 14 May 2022I have a 2020 S6 Lite and it's a perfectly capable tab... moreSometimes, Flexcil will lags. Discord would absolutely lags. Google Meet, Classroom too. Even drawing for longer than 30m will lags it. Tachi absolutely lags. Screen sharing will 100% kill it.
What app do you run for it to be such smooth sailing? Exynos is crap and have terrible thermal throttling.

Good choice for 5G ready Processor.
Should give option for 512gb and 1Tb by now too.
or Optional upgrade like a Windows Laptop.
even the heavy user will not use more Samsung's guaranteed Peace Of mind with 4OS/5years security update.
this is a huge gap, opportunity in the market.
to go against the iPad.

I want use this tab for Office & sketching primary.

I have a 2020 S6 Lite and it's a perfectly capable tablet for most purposes although you will find some apps and games that you can't run because the processor or RAM is inadequate.
But making a couple of minor spec changes and charging 400 EU is laughable. You can get a base model iPad far that and the iPad is vastly more capable.

For 400€ I can get a Tab S7 FE, which by all means is just a better tablet. Well, I guess in a few months the Tab S6 Lite 2022's price will drop and at that point it's definitely gonna be the perfect boomer tablet. But even then, for just a little bit of extra money, you can get so much more bang for your buck.

I apologise for calling the Exynos 9611 'trash'. I meant to say that it is allegedly a trash SoC, from general opinion about it on the internet, but outside of any gaming (including emulation), it has worked fine for me, and I wish more companies would produce large battery (≥6000 mAh) phones similar to the M21. The AMOLED screen on it was also great.
This Tab S6 Lite sounds like a great package for a student like me, then! 😁
