Dimensity 8100 seems to have more of a balance without x2 core power hogging and tsmc better quality chipset

derrr, 17 May 2022Is there a need to reference other brands as my initial res... moreDimensity 9000 has same Heating and throttling issue, while dimensity 8100 and Exynos 1080 perform better.

Difference is Dimensity 9000 has X2 cores while Dimensity 8100 use Cortex A78 core.

So if D9000 from Tsmc perform Bad and D8100 perform Good, then in Samsung Fab you have Exynos 2100/2200 Perform Bad while Exynos 1080 perform Good. What Cause this? SAMSUNG Fab or cortex X2 cores?

Soon Sd 8 gen 1+ will come out, we will see if it can sustain Perfomance or still Has problem.

Before GOS game optimizing service, on S4 they used Exynos, it seems similiar or better performance than Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 pro. Exynos was overclocking cpu and gpu on benchmark tests like Antutu ,3dmark. In other apps Exynos was using normal performance.

Just maybe there is a connection in there somewhere...Samsung/heating GOS/poor foundry yields...Bottom line Samsung fab IS also subject to heating.

Samsung should just abandon Exynos and use Dimensity in all their phones. Imagine S23 with Dimensity 9000+

Samsung 3nm yields are still in the 20% range, and anything Samsung claims to the contrary, are lies, by their own admission. They have repeatedly lied about their 5nm, 4nm, and 3nm yields, and after recently getting caught lying, admitted they were lying, and now suddenly we are supposed to believe they have miraculously improved yields.

TSMC doesn’t start production until yields are around 70%, and shortly after production mature yields are around 90%.

Samsung should create a new company, that outsources production from TSMC. Until such new designs of SoCs are ready, for being outsourced, it should concentrate on using TSMC-made Snapdragon chips, but with extremely complex layers of heatsinks. Most issues with Snapdragon, Exynos and Mediatek (as well as Apple), are serious overheating issues. These need fo be ironed out first.
