How would you feel its not a great feature? Being able to survive under water and function where a normal phone without such protection might become useless and need a replacement? If price was the issue as I stated already they are not really charging too much for said protection.

Its stupid to compare the z to a rumor phone and say that the rumor phone is better. When the s4 gets released it wll be compared to sony's next rumored phone and the cycle will start over. If you like the z and have the money to buy it then buy it. if wait for the next big thing you are always going to be waiting forever cause a better phone will always be announced. just buy any phone you want (along as its android lol jk) personally I like the waterproof feature seeing as my last phone (htc eris droid) got a minute amount of water in it and ruined the microphone :(

Again i am not fighting with this feature i know Sony Zl is there without this features its just a debate.

Also think that a lot of phones suffer water damage from shower steam as well which this should help greatly against. The point is that is helps protect the phone from un expected conditions that might otherwise destroy it

Just because you protect your phone and dont plan on it getting wet does not mean it wont happen. At that rate why use gorrila glass if you dont plan to drop your phone..Get it? If accidently dropped in water will survive rather than worrying about replacement. What part of that being added security are you not getting?

I have just experienced the pictures and videos taken from Sony Z when it was placed in a glass container filled with water, its really good man.
And please people dont think I am favoring any company, I am mentioning what I just saw.

U never use any phone b4 in rainy season ???
About dust... i think dust is every where & we use lots of mobile b4 whiteout any kind of water/dust proofing.
Is everyone here from those countries ?? I don't think so & I think network is main problem for those countries btw which countries u r talking about ? sry my geography is weak.

While they were behind in advanced hardware and features they were well on par with quality and and camera. They are also catching up with hardware as well though many others also are.
