Also, if you use a drone or something like that, the 256 Go will be out in a matter of day usages ... If it's enough for you, great, but for a lot of people/usage, without any expansion, it's not. And that's why some people feels the smartphones laggy after a few months, just because it's full and doesn't have enough memory to operate properly.

As for the SD speeds, we are on 2022 and since 5-7 years at least, there is the model Samsung EvoPlus (And others, but I quote this one because it's widely available, cheap and warranted 10y), which is 90/100 mb/s in W/R speeds, better than some eMMC (But not as UFS), priced around 40-50 EUR for 512 Gb. So, again, just let the choice to customer ...

What are you planning on storing on a 6" electronic device that's primary function is to make telephone calls? There are tablets, mainframe computers, cloud servers, laptops, iMac's, gaming consoles, USB drives and external hard drives that can hold masses of information. Anyone that fills up a 256gb phone has issues. Filling up 256 GB takes a lot effort. Plus, if you do full it up, the phone will be as slow AF. External SD cards are pretty dated and gone from most phones because the read and write teams are so slow.

      Nice phones but unnecessary

        So ... 380-480 EUR depending on the model, still capped @ 256 Gb (and no expansion) and still USB 2.0. Yay! Don't get me started on this 2MP cam to have a 'Triple Cam' engraved on the back ... smh

        It's not all bad (The UWA that have AF to 2.5cm is nice), but there is a lot of cons at first impression.
