Mine was delivered with a French/Belgium AZERTY keyboard. Contacted customer service who escalated my case to the e-commerce department. You cannot contact them and they do not do anything. I just wanted a Qwerty keyboard.
After weeks of waiting for some response, I was told they do not sell the Matestation any longer. No keyboard? Absolutely useless customer service.

AnonD-864404, 24 May 2022Well, AMD's desktop part doesn't have iGPU, unles... moreWho said anything about roaming around with a monitor? It wasn't even the topic. The point was downplaying TDPs "bEcAuSe No OnE cArEs AbOuT iT oN a Pc LiKe ThIs" is outright stupid. Why would CPU makers chase efficiency if TDP "isn't" supposed to be a problem? The reason they didn't is simply because it's not possible to cool a 95W+ TDP processor in such a slim package, unless you can somehow break the laws of physics or do some black magic.

And wonderful world of Windows? Sorry, but nothing is wonderful about Windows. I only use it because of their cockhold in the industry, and it's what's used at work. It's not like you can't do the same thing from other OSes unless you want to game, sure Windows is an obvious choice. Linux can work if you have time to fiddle around to make games work with Wine.

At least I agree on this one. More choices are definitely better for the consumers. More choices = more competition.

Anonymous, 24 May 2022"But as these features work only between Huawei device... moreThe thing is unlike Apple, Samsung ecosystem is not locked it can work well with third party but it works best with Samsung stuff

Nd I don't blame Samsung for that u see these brands are big Tech giants nd there is really how much Samsung can make these third party brands do for a open ecosystem experience

That is why i appreciate Samsung a lot they are really trying hard considering how they don't control all like Apple but they do their best to work with brands worldwide just to make everything optimized

        It's not easy really

Apple ecosystem is just better which made them achieve such performance per watt ratio but again, you can't enjoy the world of Windows in a restricted Apple environment, can you? :)

I see both as absolute win because end of the day, we can choose better from more options.

"But as these features work only between Huawei devices, we’d call them niche and move on."

If they're called niche, niche should be there. One should blame Apple and the consumers of Apple for that. Apple made their products and services compatible only with their own products and people praise and boast of so-called Apple *ecosystem* and *exclusive privileges*. Users of other companies don't deserve to be disadvantaged over and over again hearing "Only Apple users can get this and that", "You need to get an iPhone/Mac to use this and that", "Apple users can use everything but Android/Windows users can't use Apple software/services".

Now there is no reason for companies to open up their platform and make their products compatible with other platforms only for competing platforms to take advantage of, but not the other way around. People chose it. People made it clear they don't care about cross-platform compatibility, and only say "Ordinary consumers don't know or care if this and that. People buy it because *it just works*". They even oppose interoperability saying how open systems are messy and like the *Wild West* and support Apple's monopolistic control and anti-third party practices saying "Apple provides better user experience and everything is simple/seamless/tightly integrated because they are all by Apple. I only trust Apple. The quality can be assured only when everything is done by Apple". Their use of other company products and features doesn't deserve to be respected. In the same sense, people have chosen proprietary messengers over email and chosen apps over web.

Then to a lesser extent, Samsung learned hard from Apple and has been walling up their own garden with Samsung-exclusive features and people praise *Samsung ecosystem* and how Samsung is differentiated from other Androids. When some people ask why this Samsung thing can't be used with another brand device of theirs, they're met with the blunt response, "This is Samsung. Why should Samsung allow competition access to its own functionality?"

Consumers have been giving their left cheek to be slapped by Apple and right cheek to be slapped by Samsung, back and forth, left and right, like a ping-pong ball. I would not blame other companies much for the market reality.

When there are a closed platform and an open platform, people have proved that the open platform loses because users of the closed platform can enjoy both while users of the open platform can only use things on the open platform but can't use things on the closed platform.

Anonymous, 23 May 2022Goddamn the Apple fanboys are strong in this comment sectio... moreYou say no one cares about TDP on a PC like this, yet they're using a mobile processor? If they truly didn't care, it would've been a full desktop variant like a 5600x or an i5 12600k, but they didn't; so they DO care - unless you want a big hunk of a metal as a base for it to even cool it properly. It's literally because of M1's low TDP that they can achieve those kinds of thinness without even hearing the fan while performing well, but you're here downplaying TDP as something unimportant just because it's Apple LOL.

-never saw replies-, 23 May 2022what a copycat, uncreative.... bet still cant compete with M1Sounds like you need to see an eye doctor.

you have to suffer, 22 May 2022because who needs more refresh rate on a work computer?? no... moreBut normal desktop usage is also smoother with a higher refresh rate. It just does not make any sense to limit the panel. Nowadays it's just done for the sake of limiting. :(

Goddamn the Apple fanboys are strong in this comment section. Noone cares about TDP on a PC like this and the performance is good. The design easily beats an iMac, just look at both and tell me the iMac is better with it's giant border and mediore port placement.. By the way: This isn't copying Apple, it's just the best overall AIO design and if this is a copy oh boy does it make Apple look bad.

Looks very neat, better than any iMac Apple released in years. Better yet, with that chip some gaming is fairly realistic, as my laptop with a 5600H does well in that department without a discrete GPU. Mind you I run some games at 720p for 60 fps, but most games are perfectly playable at 1080p too. I would prefer my laptop as it's pretty much on par if not better that this thing but if you need an all-in-one this does seem pretty good!

In web benchmarks, like Octane or Speedometer, the M1 iMac does even better while being a 12W chip, and most work most people do nowadays is web based. Ryzen wins in more complex benchmarks that can measure video processing and heavy multithreaded workloads, but that’s far from most workloads.

Also, this is 5000-series, while current gen is already 6000-series, this is a gen behind AMD processors
