What we saw last couple of years (at least) is the opposite, even at software front they can do more in real world performance with same SOC or sometimes inferior comparing with Apple A SOC.
They all have bugs, its not Miui exclusive (simply check news tab in gsmarena and you will see new bugs in iOS every single update) and updates sometimes are fake due to the exclusive functionalities to new models only... The software version is the same but SO is not so we can conclude 4/5/6 years of software updates are partially fake and some updates only accelerate obsolescence.
I repair mobile phones and there is false accusations or they are not as big, important or relevant as stated in the comments.
Reliability was far worse in the iPhones in some components they discontinued lately... Home buttons, changing ports, slow down caused by updates were problematic and I never received Xiaomi phones to change trivial things like that. The owners only change when they became outdated, hardware outdated because they are years a head in functionality comparing with vanilla Android and they don't need Android updates like the vanilla versions because the updates and change are in Miui version.

This is litterary the same. People standing behind the Nokia brand forms the Nokia brand.
Its not only brand name used its about people who passion and love brings us the brand we still love as before.

And unless you stuck somewhere in the past, Nokia has sold their mobile phone and smartphone business, including factories, long ago to Microsoft. Microsoft sold it to Foxconn. HMD had a license to use Nokia brand, which is Foxconn paying HMD for.
Nokia is only doing communication infrastructure equipment now, like base stations.

Nokia is still Nokia that finnish company who make them before.
The onkly difference is they are made in China at Foxconn.
Apart that its still finnish company and part belongs to HMD which is chinese.

Damn, Xiaomi even intentionally released smartphones this year with outdated Android 11, so they basically shorten software update span, dor example id Xiaomi would release Redmi Note 11 series with Android 12 out of the box then RN 11 series would get Android 14, now they will give 11 series only A12 and A13 next year, it's horrible, even BBK does better job.
