""One is Dimensity 930 with faster connectivity than the 920 and support for 120Hz Full HD+ displays with HDR10+""

Hmm how do understand this ? Poco X4 NFC will be 120hz AMOLED screen with a full HD plus screen and is with Dimensity 920. So what will the 930 have better over 920 ?

Anonymous, 23 May 2022G99 sounds like the worst name for a chip. At least call it... moreG69 would be better.

          Looks interesting.
Since Redmi Note 8 pro with Helio G90T mediatek outpreformed most competitors with ease.
And since then they still growing and are more and more popular.

The Helio G99 is a disappointing release, as it's basically the Dimensity 810 without 5G.

4K30 gone at the D930 I guess? Also the big cores got downclocked to 2.2Ghz from 2.5Ghz. Lets see how will the PowerVR BXM perform against Mali G68 I guess.

Mediatek offers very good products on paper.

However, because they release them only in China, don't expect them before a whole year from the announcement day. That's if we are lucky to see them globally.

Also on another note, they always talk about WiFi 6E while if you look and search you'll find only regular 6 in all products they released in China! WiFi 6 (non-E) is the max version they can provide.

And god knows if all GNSS bands are really supported as per their claim. I don't want to mention their claims in other specs too. LPDDR5X? Yeah right.

1050 is going to b a strong chip but you hardly get a phone made of good mtk chip. G99 should have upgraded the GPU mali g57 mc2 is still not good enough maybe 930

Don't use old arms cpu with slow speed.

Snapdragon lately have been good again
7 gen 1 is the midrange A710 is better than mediatek midrange that still use A78. Really wish to see mediatek 8000 series with A710 cores.
