Having one or two cores running on 5.5.. good on amd for making progress, being competitive and innovative but.. thats not something to be bragged about

Not only this "benefit" is entirely irrelevant (who the frigging hell runs CPU without a cooler anyway?) and secondly, Ryzen CPU's have thermal protection since the first generation and they wouldn't burn out without a cooler. But whatever, you keep on droning your nonsensical useless claims.

Intel still slows down its power and then turns off before it burns. It's still the same thing as back in the days. Amd hasn't changed. Only gotten faster and more powerful, without fixing the flaw that still hunts them.

These CPU clocks are getting really useless. Well these have not much changed a lot. I have like 4th gen i5 that is like 3.2GHz with boost of 3.4GHz and thats like 9 years old CPU.

Clock speeds have not change much so most of it is in the threading and other things i just dont much understand this with all the cores and threads or what ever.

Also these new CPU should come with GPU that is able to run at max settings new PC games. Or graphics card built in mother board that is powerful enough.

It's just insane how much graphics card cost right now thanks to the bitcoin mining so all the speed clocking on new CPU dont make much sense anymore as we wont get anything in next 10 years that will ever use all of this 5.5GHz power if it's only CPU. Even i can play all the new games that are coming out with decent graphics even with my 8 years old GTX970

Just to compare the price i got the 970 was 295 Euro 8 years ago pretty much on it's release month. Now on the same class is 3070 and that is like 2000 euro.

To become a gamer these days you need to have some rich parents or some good work where you get paid a lot and have a lot of free time so you can invest the time in gaming.

It's like Formula F1 where ever thing cost insane amount of money. Now Pc gaming have also got to a point like that.

Sometimes it just wouldn't post properly, but Asus eventually fixed that with newer BIOS. I also have to give the chipset slightly more voltage to keep the PC stable, this also used to help a bit with boot issues. Will go for a 5800X3D, to get at least some frame drops fixed that my 3700X causes.

That still proves that Intel... moreAnd how does that "prove" it's "more stable" when it's entirely useless in that state because it'll probably run at 400MHz? Only thing you're proving here is that you've not actually seen a CPU up close in person in your life and you don't have a clue how they even work either.

Olympus Oms, 24 May 2022Well, still proves that amd can't do what Intel can. S... moreSure, are you going to try running your shiny new 800€ 12900KF without a cooler? What's your point? You can run Ryzen without cooler too and it would probably boot the system just because it would simply throttle into infinity once it hits 90°C which is a thermal limit for most Ryzen 5000 CPU's, just like Intel would. Again, what's your point?
