For years when Apple would bring out a new phone then the next year just adds a few upgrades people seem to be ok. Google is more about AI than design and major changes to the 2nd model after the first new phone is just refined. no offense to anyone you simply don't have to buy it

If you want a smaller form factor, maybe the pixel 6a could be worth waiting for. It supposedly comes with a 6.1inches screen but with the pixel 5 camera modules and a gen 1 Tensor.

Why don't they just slap 7 logo on the back of pixel 6 and release it this time without bug's...
Google don't seem to understand hardware upgrades!
Pixel 7 should have three camera's, should have min 256gb memory and 12gb ram.
My wife's old Poco phone has 4 camera's, 256gb and it's year old. When it was new it cost a little over 400 quid, had gorilla glass 5 aluminium frame. 865 processor, etc etc.... Why can't Google make a decent phone, last decent android phone was nexus 6.

C'mon! That's laptop money there. Especially for a device that is supposed to go with you on your daily life and is inevitably exposed to accidental drops, forgetting it on public transport, scratches by keys in your pocket, and even stolen if you have an unlucky day.
On the other hand, good for you if you have THAT disposable income, please understand that comparatively few people do.

Suggestion for future google line-ups:
Vanilla Pixel - compact 6.2" flat display with usual pixel premium specs (90hz)
Pixel Xl - larger version of the flagship, maybe 6.6" display with overall same features as vanilla and maybe a couple tweaks (120hz)
Pixel Pro - premium flagship, curved 6.8" following the current pro's model
Pixel "A" - 6" inch compact mid ranger specs with mid range chipset (60hz)
Pixel "A+" - 6.4" mid ranger specs but with flagship chipset (90hz) (fan edition style entry & price)

Most people have classic 5V 2A or 2.4A chargers at home, most off brand ones support QC3.0 and QC4.0 and that's about it as far as quick charging goes. You need Snapdragon chipset to use it, I have no idea how Exynos or mediatek powered phones negotiate charge speeds with QC chargers, if at all. They probably just charge at 5V 2.4A as maximum.

As always not much changed.
Price will be close to apple and specs will be just above average.
In other words NOTHING with moniker DARE TO LEAP or FLAGSHIP KILLER.
Just an above average midranger with many OS updates and even more compromises like Apple devices.
