Don't expect huge changes compared to the last generation devices.

TheFoneBear, 28 May 2022Let's see how are they going to tackle finger print is... moreI also have the pixel 6 pro with android 12L beta and I have had no problems with fingerprint or anything! those complainers around here are just cheap chinese brand fanboys because they don't have money to pay more than 1000 dollars for a decent phone! oh but they do install the G cam on their cheap phones because their camera is lousy... As for the next pixel I expect only 2 things: 1 flat panel, I no longer want curved panels 2: the soc tensor of the hand of TMSC if they do not cover those 2 factors there will be no purchase on my part

Just give it symmetrical bezels again. The Pixel 5 is so pleasing to look at, not sure why that had to change with the 6.

Fitz, 28 May 2022Apple doesn't give 90hz too so why blame only goggle?Goes to show that you only need a little disinformation to make bigger profits. American brands used to stand for quality and leading technology. Turned out it's more fun to make money and spread lies.

Let's see how are they going to tackle finger print issue. In addition to that, I presume they are not going to ship units with charger? That "save the environment" mantra is the one of the colossal bull from these companies. Buying separate charger purports extra packing and transportation which quite negates their virtue signalling. It is all about $$$ and bonuses for show runners and number crunchers in excel sheets. They should face a senate hearing committee for this blatant unscrupulous behavior

Now coming to the topic. I have Pixel 6 Pro, and the only issue I face is finger print. Battery life is good for my use case, and no teething issues that are reported by other unfortunate users. Perhaps it is due to absence of mmwave 5g from EU units, and devices assembled post Feb 2022 have minimal issues. I don't use android auto so can't comment here.

Anyhow, let's see what google is going to offer which is hush-hush for now. I'm certainly looking forward for their tablet, since my Nexus 7 2013 is pretty much lived a good life and served well.

Whenever google release a new phone, it give me the impression that Google is trying to be Apple.
Selling a Google phone, with a Android os (that belongs to them now, technical).

Seriously, neither of the company is improving their tech / os so much to the point I can say is next level of tech.

                      Just minor improvement, as ever.

I like white. I don’t like huge phones though.

90Hz on a late 2023 flagship 🤮 This means Pixel 7a will most likely still be 60Hz 🙄
At least make Pixel 7 FHD 120Hz, 7 Pro stays at QHD 120Hz and the 7a upgrades to FHD 90Hz but I'd like to see 120Hz on the 7a as well.
