Badchip, 08 Jul 2022Not true. CPU do degrade over timeNot true. CPU do degrade over time
Yep everything degrades over time pretty much.
I still have a processor for a PC that I have had since 2014 still runs but not as fast as when new, however still usable.

you have to suffer, 02 Jun 2022i know cpu dont degrade. i am talking about the performance here,Performance of a CPU on the first day and 10 years later will be the same. You may feel that the performance drops over time because generally newer versions of software and OSes are more demanding. It has nothing to do with time.

The iPhone was designed so that people with barely any hint of tech can operate a smartphone with ease, example old people. But surprisingly, a lot of iPod users joined in as well, making the iPhone massively popular. But at the end of the day, it is just a glorified music player that can make calls and take selfies

This is big reason why so many likes Apple products, i think what you described is because how the OS is designed, Everything with iOS is in their own sandboxs. So no matter how much stuff you put there the device will always works fast and smooth. There's nothing extra or crap running background. With Android it's just like Windows, more stuff you install more slower your pc gets and Sometimes you just need to reinstall your Windows to make it fast and snappy again, until it again gets slower.

I don't know what kind of magic Apple does with storage, but it's just silky smooth. Chipsets on Android phones, at least top end ones are capable enough, but for some reason phones become unbearably sluggish or stuttering when doing rather mundane things. And I know it's not chipset fault because it's usually okay after factory reset of the phone and then just spirals downwards every time. Factory resetting Android phones was basically a yearly ordeal. I've not reset my iPhone even once in nearly 4 years and it's still as snappy and responsive as on day 1 when I bought it. I don't know what's going on with Androids in this regard. And they had UFS storage already.
