By the way without phone smartwatches are useless because you need that app to run and pair with them othervise they are good maybe for date and time. Thats it.
Its like with navigation in car. Smartphones outruns any navigation in car many times over and several years ago.
Any phone outruns any smartwatches.
Having one device for one thing when other device does lot more and lot better tricks better way. Biwdays smartphone litterary replace everything becuase you can have app for litterary everything.
Apart the fact phone cant do anything on its own like run hoover, cook your food etc but when comes to pairs phone can do litterary everything.

Stop looking at things JUST from your own perspecive.
If you are unable to run or jump without breaking your bones that does not mean that everyone else will have the same problem.
It is the same with all other things, like here with watches. You dont like smartwatches, other people like them. Deal with it.
Some find smarthwatches best thing to have when they do sports or any other activity, and yes, smartwatch is 10x better then smartpone when used in sports/activity.

Android phone ASP is very low compared to iPhone ASP, which means it’s more likely to find potential smartwatch user from Apple users than from Android users.
Real reason is that others can’t sell their smartwatch much cheaper than Apple their Apple Watch, same with tablets, that’s why the situation is different than what it is with phones where Android have phones in price range where Apple doesn’t have any iPhone available.

Well if they have 0 competition then for sure they hold the top place. Apple devices is basically it's own thing in the market that have no competition with others as they have unique operation system that nobody other can use. While Android version on everything have hard competition with 100 different brands so none of them will ever reach to numbers like Apple that have no competition with anything to anything

Its like cars right? "I don't think small trucks are useful at all so why would anyone buy one?" would obviously be wrong as there are plenty of reasons small trucks exist but not everyone needs to own a truck.
I think there are a few things driving these wearable sales up.
People are actually finding many new uses for these wearable devices due to improvements in their functionality and advancements in hardware. When you go for a run its much better to risk your $200-$300 dollar watch than dropping your $1200 dollar phone. The ability to still listen to my music/podcasts during the run through the watch is pretty useful too when combined with wireless buds. You can use the watch to track your statistics, your route, plan courses for yourself or a specific workout plan you wanna do, etc... I know these things aren't for everyone but there are also people who find it very useful. Like they say "to each their own"
I think the bigger factor is fashion at this point lol. People view these wearables as a "statement" and a "all my friends have one so I should get one too" I hate this one but you have to agree that there are plenty of people out there where all that matters is they have what their friends have and aren't left out. A "status symbol" so to speak. It's a "Hey I can afford this $1200+ phone with these $300 wireless buds and a $400 smart watch." I know its stupid but this exists.

Yeah so grea... moreWell thats exact but zillions of people still prefer wired over wireless.
For a sake of endurance even Casio for 5 bucks last many days or weeks even few months.
Luxury ones last even longer. But that time and date no extra apps body controll, or pay by smartwatches etc.
And charging every single day like with hyúpe around wireless earphones and earbuds.

Yeah so great to run with phone inside pocket 😅 i don’t own smartwatch but thinking to buy one for sports.

What is the hype with wireless earbuds or earphones? I wouldn’t go back to wired, so handy and effortless and the sound these days is also very good. Don’t see any hype, just great products to make life easier.
