if only xiaomi and amazfit would give smaller size options and a bit lower price tags, they would clearly add much more market share. 46mm is clearly way too big for "one size for all".
besides,I think all smartwatches must have aluminum variants since they are being used for 3-4 years max. steel or titanium products are more likely to be used for 20-30 years. so,they are unnecessary costs on smartwatches.

Well i am surprised that so many people use smartwatches along with phone.
When comes to basic things ordinary watches even luxury ones manage to show date and time. For anything else phone is good enough.
This hype with smatwatches is same like with wireless earbuds and eaphones.
But nah i dont mind since its not mine problem.
