My Galaxy Watch 4 gives me about 36 hours with AOD on. I like it for its excellent health features including a blood pressure test and ECG simulation (I suffer from chronic hypertension). "one day" is not really good enough

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2022apple watch doesn't last a day either and look at it goThough 18 hours is very much realistic use. That's from 6 in the morning through entire day till midnight. I'm achieving that with just 80% charge. Now that battery degraded to around 80%, I usually charge it a bit more to 85-90% and it'll last me the same. I don't use it for navigation or super active stuff, just as means of seeing time and notifications.

So awful battery like the rest of their products. Huawei throwing out 20 day battery on watches and my old LG G watch R had better battery. Stay clear of Google designed products, they. Are. Terrible.

Active 2 was kind of glitchy. I don't know if Google will manage to take advantage of this processor even better for a fluid interface, like Apple's watch for instance.

I have a solar watch +a stick in my backyard which the shadow tells you the time according to where it's pointing) and it has eternal battery life as long as the sun exists. Yet I'm not bringing that up for comparison.

It's not ideal for me either but fast charging makes this easier, in less than an hour it's fully charged. Hopefully in time we'll have different battery technology or different use of power which allows to extend battery life,but for now it's all we got. I charge mine while I'm getting ready in the morning, this way I measure night and day and the time charging is insignificant for accurate measures.

It has few predefined AOD watch faces and that's it. On Apple Watch, AOD mode watch face is identical to normal watch face. I kno wmost don't care, but I like having consistent experience and not two entirely different watch faces between AOD and normal mode.

One day only? So it means you have to charge it daily and when the battery reaches its life charge cycle (~800 times or approx. 3 years) it will start to degrade and a candidate for replacement. That's pathetic! I stopped using my smartband because I'm tired of charging it every 12 days and now this smartwatch has only one day battery life. Imagine my pain if I use this device.
