Anonymous, 02 Jun 202216GB hardly can be enough. But 8GB isn't good anymore.For $600, 8GB RAM is alright. It's the bare minimum for any laptops today. And RAM is cheap. Putting 4GB on this is just Microsoft being a cheapskate, ruining the experience of consumers.

Microsoft Surface Pros have their own hardware bugs and issues (eg your SP4 is just waiting for the screen to flicker, it's a hardware defect). The only upside of Surfaces is no McAffee that you have to uninstall.

Any general purpose consumer laptop in 2022 with just 4GB RAM should be criminal. Windows will take most of the RAM and the rest will swap, ruining the tiny SSD even faster. Throwaways. Microsoft should be ashame of itself. Might as well buy an Android tablet/iPad.

Its a surface. They are always optimized better. My SP4 still works great (although still on Win10).

128GB for a laptop sounds nothing even HDD is better with larger capacity but these are slim so I think the rom is too low at least we should use 500GB for normal usage. like if you agree.

4gb rams and 128gb ssds what a joke. Oh and if you want to upgrade from pathetic (4/128) to pathetic (8/256) then it's $200 extra. When are companies going to stop ripping people off for shitty storage upgrades?

Alder Lake U / P laptops are slowly appearing and they brought once again a last gen processor and abysmal pixel density display, it's also not cheap. Comparing it to Vivobook / Zenbook that comes with either Ryzen 6000 / Intel 12th gen and a 1080p OLED display, much better offering.
