[deleted post]"Poor updates", yet you fools are cheering at the fact that Samsung announced their flagships getting 5 years of updates just a few months ago, when Apple has been doing it since forever LOL. Let's not even talk about the Chinese brands that barely even support their phones past the 2 year mark or even any support at all

This means Apple are no longer supporting any iOS device with less than an A11 now if I’m not mistaken?
So that would mean something in iOS 16 requires at least that second generation performance controller allowing access to all cores at once (not just two as was the case with the A10) and some form of neural engine……..

Even though I have safari open, swiping down from the upper right corner takes me straight to control centre. It’s the same if I switch to any other app.

If no app is open, pulling in the center opens notifications page and corner gestures brings down that menu. But with any app open, only notifications.
I miss the time when bugs were rare with updates, now every year iOS and android have more and more issues.
But at least google does not force you to have the latest OS to use all apps.

uzername, 06 Jun 2022I like the new lock screen. My next phone might be iPhone If you do not mind paying $100 more this year for new SoC and main camera.
Pro max 128 will be $1200. If you are in USA, obviously €1300 for Europe.

Easy mistake to make though as it really needs to be in the right 3rd of the screen where you perform the pull down gesture.

-Trix-, 06 Jun 2022What you mean? I don’t need to pull down two times?Yes. Because if any app is open on ipad, you pull once you just see notifications page.
To for example change brightness (I do not like auto brightness) you need to pull second time.
Before iOS 14, I could access this menu by pulling down once. Now to pull once, I need to exit the app.
