08 June 2022
Three 64MP cameras on the back and a massive 6.8” AMOLED hold a lot of promise.

Besides that, banking and other critical apps may require updated security libraries to function properly.

I'm certainly curious how this device fares and user experience after 6 months. Perhaps, all will be answered by then.

ZTE should again focus on that incredible audio quality from axon 7 instead of keep trying this failed tech. UDC will never reach quality of conventional camera.
3rd year and quality is not even better than VGA.

64mp is great for shots of blinds, no artwork in photography even in binned mode, just real sharp detail.
Sadly, jack is now no1 priority for me.

Looks like Samsung note series and s22ultra.
                    Boxy rectangular edges

This is probably phone of the year. Finally, an under screen camera that you can not notice. Zero top and chin bezel, fast processor, quality OLED HDR display at 120hz, very good cameras, large battery and fast charging. And best of all, an acceptable price at $750 for all its flagship features. I will pick on up at the end of the year when they are $500.

Watching an online review of this phone, I'd say the front camera is innovation at best and mediocre, to say the least. The rest are good specs except the android skin.

How fast does this brand push security updates, major and minor OS releases after google unloads them in the wild? After about a week? More than 3 weeks is just too much. Any past track record?

Note 20 ultra with no punch hole 😅

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2022What reason could you possibly have to change phones every year.cus I like new tech and beta testing newest experimental stuff, like foldable phones, Tesla FSD beta, Android beta, iOS beta, WearOS beta, etc, etc. I always take good care of my phones and sell them to someone else who is going to keep using it for many years so it's not like I'm just trashing it (generating more e-waste) and buying a new one. Plus I use my phone way too much that every little millisecond counts in better speed, if it saves me time, it's worth the money. I know 99% of people don't use their phones nearly as much as I do so a midrange or even a budget phone is fine for them. There are many many other markets where I don't need to buy the top of the line option and just go with the cheapest that works (furniture, clothes, watches, sneakers, airline tickets, drones, cameras, generic brands of groceries at costco/walmart, etc.), to each their own.

notafanboy, 08 Jun 2022What are you babbling about? Out of all the major Chinese b... moreUm, yeah, they all have terrible software support, even all the ones you've listed.
