They are cheap and good but not that durable. As i told you before used market is very good indicator, those mi 5, mi 6, etc plenty of them should be in used market by now.

I join also some communities, online and offline so have many estimonies. Xiaomi are fine as long as we don't abusively use it. Mainboard faulty are rare, frequently with battery or digitizer (ghost touch). In most cases, good protective casing will help well.

LG no longer in service and finding spareparts replacement will be another problem.

All newer soc sd 888, 8G1, D8100, D9000 etc they need atleast 6W and some goes more tha 10W.

MasEnha, 11 Jun 2022I disagree, my brother's Mi 2S just dead few months ag... moreYou can provide few cases which are not common to prove your case, but to get overall idea go to used phone markets, you can get Galaxy s4 or s5, xperia Z, lg v10 and lot of good old smartphone, but its really hard geting Good chinese phone of that time like from Lenovo, Meizu etc.
And not all Samsung or big brand phones are durable, some are made by Odm like Wingtech hence they are not as durable as Premium model which are made by those Big Brand themselves.

I have had few Samsung phones and never reach that long. Anyway my RN8P still working flawlessly since launched and its more than 2.5 years already.

That said, I'm also eyeing the V60 because of the Snapdragon 865 chipset. Even with the new Android 12 OS update, doing an 8K video recording doesn't heat up the phone at all as proved by a tech YouTuber called Eazy Computer Solutions*.

Only people like you think they are great chipset where, in reality, it's not.

870 already has great thermal efficiency. They should put it on 888/888+ and 8 Gen 1/1+.

It has a 5G Modem cause believe it or not. It may have the same architecture as the 865 but it works. It's the last chipset from Snapdragon that doesn't fry itself when gaming.

They even tried Copper+ Liquid Cooling. Only Redmagic 7 with it's triple cooling (copper foil+liquid cooling+built-in cooling fan) system managed to make 8Gen 1 not so hot but at the cost of it's battery.

He bought it years ago during launch and its the only phone he was have. I have had some Samsung phones, none last that long.

since then buying about 200-300 dollar OPPO F1s and survive 2-3 years and maybe older type MTK chip, so about 3 years got heat up during usage
now using realme 5 pro similar price range with SD chip not bad experience

snapdragon 8 gen 1 is a miniature sun itself
apart from dimensity 8000/8100 , there are no better chipset than 870
